With a guillotine cutting up to 13 millimetres and oxy or plasma cutting for larger sizes, all jobs can be handled efficiently and quickly. We also offer CNC plasma cutting, giving us the ability to cut to precision measurements with computer programming and control. We also specialise in plant maintenance, offering onsite maintenance and repair work.
At Bendigo Metalworks we supply steel cut to size from our large range of plate, merchant bar, pipe and hollow sections. We sell direct to the trade as well as to the general public and we would love to help you complete your next project.

He prides himself on the quality & service the business is known for and is creative, detail-oriented and always focused.
With an Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and proficient in AutoCAD, Ben is keen to work on any project that is thrown our way. As Project Manager, he is our "go to" for customer liaison, estimating new jobs and managing our long list of projects on a day-to-day basis. Sometimes you'll even catch him on the tools — if he can find the time!
With over 40 years experience in the building & construction industry, Mark is a wealth of knowledge. His detailed approach will leave no stone unturned and ensure a quality result every time.
With over 25 years combined experience in marketing, administration, OH&S and HR, Maria is handy person to have around the office! Whether it's a toolbox talk, a performance review or entering invoices, she'll get the job done!
Damian has been with Bendigo Metalworks for six years, and is a key member of our very busy workshop. He is a highly skilled qualified tradesman with a "can do" attitude and he loves to be challenged by new projects. You'll often see Damian out on site making sure jobs are efficiently completed to a high standard.
Greg joins the Bendigo Metalworks team with a wealth of knowledge from various roles he has had in the manufacturing industry as a qualified Fitter & Machinist. With plenty of steel manufacturing experience as well, he is keen to turn his hand to anything — which certainly comes in handy around here!
Liam is a relatively new addition to the Bendigo Metalworks team, joining us at the start of 2026. He comes to us as a qualified boilermaker with plenty of experience! He is proficient in TIG/MIG and Stick welding, with both heavy and light fabrication experience. He is eager to work on any project and strives to achieve a great result every time!
Pat started out in his metal fabrication career at the end of 2023, embarking on a School-Based Apprenticeship. We were very pleased when he decided to join us on a full-time basis at the start of 2025! Now into his second year, Pat is proving to be a very valuable member of our team and his skill set is growing each and every day.
